Bess and Ron Blacquiere are parents to three incredible grown children, grandparents to three energetic and creative granddaughters as well as Founders and Principal Brokers of a successful powerhouse real estate company with over 40 agents producing over $200 million in sales volume annually. Their company, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Equinox in Eugene, Oregon, is a reputable, locally owned and operated real estate firm that prides itself on excellent customer service, a wide range of services, and a culture that strives to support everyone.

After meeting each other in Spanish class while attending the University of Oregon, Bess and Ron have now been married for almost three decades!  Both are fluent in Spanish having lived for extended periods in Guatemala and Mexico; The former while Ron was a Trainer for the Peace Corps and the latter while they worked as Scuba Instructors on the Mexican Caribbean island of Cozumel after attaining the level of Master Scuba Diver Instructor Trainers.

After spending eight years in the industry, they decided to make their move in 2003 and launch Equinox Real Estate, in Eugene, Oregon. Twenty years later, they’re the founders of the strongest-growing, independent boutique brokerage in Lane County. They’ve recently expanded into Benton County where they’re excited to serve like-minded industry leaders in Corvallis and Albany.

As their brokerage grows, Bess and Ron continue to be extremely driven and take pride in the fact they’ve become influential leaders in the industry. Both are on the Board of Directors for multiple local companies, in addition to the Eugene Association of Realtors. They love to share their knowledge and passion by teaching and coaching the incredible realtors that not only work at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Equinox, but also in their community.

With offices located in Eugene and Corvallis, Oregon, the Blacquieres are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Equinox Real Estate in 2023 and are some of the Willamette Valley’s top-producing Brokers with over 55 years of combined experience. Being real estate industry veterans for nearly 30 years, Bess and Ron have a breadth of unparalleled real estate experience. Owning a top-producing brokerage in the Willamette Valley, they have assisted thousands of Buyers and Sellers with the sale and purchase of residential and income properties as well as commercial and investment real estate.
